She was born in Alexandria, VA on August 27, 1957 to the late Abraham and Florence Stephens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Lacy; grandson, Jeffrey Lacy-Robinson, granddaughter, Lee Ann Robinson; brother, Charlie Stephens; sister Janet S. Rivenbark; nephews, Joe N. Rivenbark and Stephen F. Rivenbark; aunt, Isabelle Mister; and uncle Paul Stephens.
She was with New Hanover Regional Medical Center for 15 years.
The family will have a visitation on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 7 to 9 PM at Coble Ward-Smith, Oleander Chapel. A funeral service will be Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Pine Valley Church of God, 3810 Shipyard Blvd. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
