Linda Marie White-Phillips

Linda Marie White-Phillips, 64, of Wilmington and formerly of Carolina Beach, NC, passed away peacefully Friday, February 18, 2011, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, with her family by her side. She was born in Conway, SC, January 19, 1947, a daughter of the late Hal Rabon and Dorisa Johnson Rabon. Her first husband, Thomas Wayne White and a step- daughter, Stephanie White also preceded her in death. She had been employed with the Henry Brown Agency of State Farm Insurance Company in Wilmington for over fifteen years. Marie had served as a volunteer EMT for Carolina Beach, and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Carolina Beach Chapter. She was loved by everyone she knew and will be dearly missed by her family and the many friends whose lives she touched along her way. Marie is survived by her husband, George H. Phillips, II; daughter, Tommie Dawn Treusch and husband Eddie and their son, Kermit Wayne Treusch, grand-daughter, Tiffany White, and a step-son, Kevin White and wife Regina and their daughters, Danielle White and Rebecca White. Surviving on her husband's side of the family are son, George H. Phillips, III and wife Bethany and their daughters, Lacey and Madison, daughter, Robin Phillips and her sons, Phillip and Josh, and a son, Corey D. Phillips. Siblings surviving Marie are Essie Mae Jordan Hal Rabon, Jr., Leo Rabon, and Eloise Rabon. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday, February 20, 2011, at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel, 4108 South College Road, Wilmington, NC. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 21, 2011, at Oleander Memorial Gardens, 306 Bradley Drive, Wilmington. Marie's family conveys their heartfelt thanks to Pat and Jay Searls, Pat Holt, Patricia Usher, Lower Cape Fear Hospice, and all the staff and personnel of New Hanover Regional Medical Center and the Zimmer Cancer Center, for the kindness, care, and concern shared with them and Marie during their time of need.
