Lucille Andrews

She was preceded in death by her parents Winnie Davis Royal Mallard and Alexander Grady Mallard, and by her husband of 64 years, Robert C. Andrews Sr.

Lucille is survived by her brother, Alvin G. Mallard (Barbara) of Wilmington, and was a loving mother to her surviving children, Robert C. Andrews Jr. (Betty) of Gautier, MS, Linda Andrews Payette of Wilmington, Deborah Andrews Fuston (Bob) of Wilmington. She is also survived by five grandchildren Lori Osburn (David) of Granbury, TX, Lisa Miller (Jody) of Killeen, TX, Robert C. Andrews, III of Austin, TX, Amber Le of Wilmington, NC, Autumn Magee (Travis) of Boiling Springs Lake, NC, and eight great grandchildren.

She was a devoted, long-time member of Masonboro Baptist Church, Wilmington, NC. All who knew Mrs. Lucille will remember her as a caring soul and gentle spirit. She was Robert's "Driving Ms. Daisy" during all their travels.

Funeral services will be held on 11 a.m. Friday, December 18 at Masonboro Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 10-11 prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mark Peterson, James MacWaters, Gene McQuery, David Osburn, Travis Magee and Jason Wells will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ann Mills and Becky Bell.

The family would like to thank the staff at Azalea Health and Rehab and Lower Cape Fear Hospice for their loving and kind care during her stay.
