Marie Cannon Robison

Marie ""Ma"" Cannon Robison completed her journey on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at the age of 76, surrounded by her family and friends. Ma spent her life loving her family, friends and adopting others into her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, all of her siblings, a son, Ricky Robison, a daughter-in-love, Sandy Robison and a great-grandson, Brett Sullivan. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Willie B. Robison; a son, Bill Wesley Robison of Wilmington; daughters, Betty Bryant Billy of Conway, SC and Teresa Robison of Wilmington; grandchildren, Marsha Como, Stacy Glidden and Willie A. Robison; great-grandchildren, Adrianna Ethridge, Ryan Ethridge, Parker Lundy, Seth Glidden, Naomi Glidden and Jonathon Como; her best friend Pat Harker, numerous nieces and nephews and a multitude of adoptive children. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 pm, Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11am, Thursday, May 17, 2012, at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel with Rev. Paul Waters officiating. Burial will follow at Oleander Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Myrtle Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 5524 Myrtle Grove Rd., Wilmington, NC 28409.
