Mary Lou Lynch Corbin

Mary Lou Lynch Corbin, 89, of Wilmington, NC, died Sunday, November 19, 2023, at The Commons of Brightmore, Wilmington, NC.

She was born in Baltimore, MD, September 6, 1934, daughter of the late Joshua Howard Lynch and Edna Olivia Nagel Lynch.

Mrs. Corbin was a volunteer with the American Red Cross and OSHR.  She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, active in the church choir, and was a volunteer in the office of the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Girard Corbin; and two brothers, Robert Goodwin Lynch and Thomas Eldred Lynch.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathleen “Katie” Drennan of Wilmington, NC and Julie Corbin of Cary, NC.

Interment of ashes will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2024, in the St. Francis Garden at the St. James Parish. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, in the church, 25 South Third Street, Wilmington, NC. The family will receive friends in the Great Hall following the service.
