Michael L. Morgan of Leland passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 12, 2018.He was born December 1, 1980 in Wilmington, NC. Mike was preceded in death by his Mother, Tammy Powell and his Pop, James Powell.
He was employed with Time Warner Cable / Spectrum for the past 17 years and was a police officer with the Northwest Police Department for 12 years, attaining the rank of Lieutenant.
Mike was a loving Husband and Father.
He is survived by his wife (his high school Sweetheart), Kimberly; three children, James, Kyra, and Austin; a sister, Heather Croom; and his grandma, Carolyn Powell.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
