She was born in Decatur, IL on January 31, 1928, to Ralph Henry & Flora Cora Lunn.
Norma Jean loved her family, friends, her book club, and Generations Church. She had a strong faith and loved the Lord. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed having her family together. She was always happy and encouraging and everyone she met loved her. We will all miss her beautiful smile, her love, friendship, and positive ways.
She is survived by her five children, David Henry Fortuna, Timothy Michael Fortuna, Ronald Andrew Fortuna, Mary Anne Dunkum and Patricia Anne Fortuna-Bratcher. Twelve Grandchildren, twenty Great Grandchildren and three Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orlando David Fortuna after 55 years of marriage.
There will be a celebration of Norma Jeans life at The Community Building in Southport, NC on Sunday, April 21, 2024, beginning at 11:00am.
