Ruth Price

Mrs. Ruth Burnett Price, age 83 of Wilmington, passed away on March 15, 2015 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center. Ruth was born in Wilmington on February 7th 1932 to parents William Burnett and Mary Lucille Brown. She was predeceased by her parents, and brother William “Buddy” Burnett, and sister Margaret Buffaloe. Ruth loved spending time with her family, and enjoyed a good shopping day. Ruth was a graduate of New Hanover High School, and the James Walker Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse of over forty years. Ruth is survived by her husband David “Don” Price, three daughters Deb Loding, Patricia Britt, and Vickie Hogan and spouse Shannon. Three daughters by marriage, Donna Kay Walters, Deborah Sue Millard, and Kathy Parish. Three Grandsons, two Great Granddaughters and sisters, Ella Mae Bird, Becky Williams, Greta Johnson, Betty Farmer, and Julie Orrell. A visitation will be held at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service on Wednesday March 18,2015 from 5:00-7:00pm. Funeral Service will be Thursday March 19th at 9:00am in the Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service Chapel. 3915 Oleander Dr. Wilmington, NC.
