He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Maryann Donohue; daughter, Deborah Marino; son, Thomas Donohue; three grandchildren, Katie and Matt Marino and Elizabeth Donohue; sister, Marie Shea.
Tommy was a long time parishioner of St. Mark Catholic Church and member of the New Hope Pulmonary Program. He had often talked about is love and gratitude for all people and friends in both places. His family would like to thank them for making him so happy all these years.
Though his lungs were weak his heart was strong. Thomas was a pillar of strength and support for his family and friends. He lived by the motto strangers are just friends waiting to happen. His dancing blue eyes and joyful smile made this world a better place and his family is sure that after years of being physically restricted by his lung capacity, he is dancing and singing with the angels now.
Poppy, you made it. Today, you’re in the paper.
