Thomas Hendrix Wolfe Jr.

Mr. Wolfe was born in Brunswick County on Feb. 15, 1918, and was the son of Bessie Rebekah Ballard Wolfe and Thomas Hendrix Wolfe Sr. Mr. Wolfe was a life-long member of Town Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Wolfe retired from the US Navy in 1970 as a Senior Chief Boilerman after 20 years’ Service

Survivors include his wife, Elsie Reeves Wolfe, two daughters, Wilda Pygott Rogers, and Linda Wolfe Teachey, one son, Robert Leamon Pygott, 17 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service from 2-4pm on Sunday, July 5, 2015.

Funeral Service will be held at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Chapel at 10am on Monday July 6, 2015 with his Pastor, Rev. Victor Potter officiating.

Interment with Military Honors will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens, 306 Bradley Drive, Wilmington, NC 28409.
