Wan Su Kim

Wan Su was born on December 9, 1949 in Seoul, South Korea. He came to call North Carolina home in 1988 and become a US citizen soon after.

Wan Su was a member of the Wilmington Korean Presbyterian Church. He was a skilled cobbler and owner of Roses Plaza Shoe Repair and Beauty Supply. He enjoyed getting to know his customers and always greeted everyone warmly. He was a loving husband and father and also a master at GO. He loved his family and worked very hard to provide the best life he could for them.

Wan Su is survived by his wife Keum Soon Kim, his son Adam, a brother and five sisters in Seoul, South Korea, Joon Ho Lee and family of Leland NC, Kenneth Lee and family of Wilmington NC.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 21st from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home, 3915 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403. The funeral service will be held at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Friday March 22, 1013 with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412 immediately following.
