Albert Ernest “Al” Weaver, 70, of Wilson passed away Tuesday. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home, Wilson, NC with Rev. Jerry Braziel and Rev. Allan Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson, NC.
The family will receive friends Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home located at 2704 Nash St. N, Wilson, NC.
Surviving are his sister, Janice Weaver White (James) of Wilson; two sisters-in-law: Elizabeth Ann Weaver of Wilson and Vickie W. Weaver of Elm City; five nieces: Daisy Stancill (Jeff), Drenda Carpenter (Rubin), Dianne O’Neal, Jessica Sexton (Jason) and Jennifer Willoughby (Randy); a number of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, friends and church family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Ralph and Doris Davis Weaver, and two brothers, James Ralph Weaver Jr. and Needham Ray Weaver.
