

Alice is preceded in death by her husband; George Wesley Herring, her parents: William Atlas and Hattie Glen Wooten Driver, one son; George Wesley Herring Jr., one daughter; Tracy Hope Herring, one brother; James Ray Driver (Maxine) and one sister; Barbara Driver Bailey.
She is survived by her two daughters; Teressa Herring Aldapa (Alfredo) of Wilson, and Donna Herring Rivera (Danny) of Jacksonville, four grandsons; Brandon E. Hardison (Mimi) of Goldsboro, Alfredo (Trey) Aldapa III of Goldsboro, London R. Rivera (Brittany) of Florida, and Jacob R. Rivera of Wilmington, three great-grandchildren: Dianna, Dana and Jovany of Goldsboro, three brothers; William A. Driver Jr.(Debbie), of Selma, Jerry L. Driver of Wilson and Garland R. Driver (Joan) of Kenly, two sisters; Judy Driver Turnage of Wilson, and Connie Driver Hinnant (Rick) of Zebulon, one brother-in-law; John R. Herring of Goldsboro and two sisters-in-laws; Janice F. Harrell of Durham and Brenda Herring Gay (Robert) of Wilson.
Faye was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord, her family and her friends. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home. Funeral service will held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home in Wilson and will be officiated by Brother Garland Driver and Brother Jerry Driver. Interment will be immediately following at Stantonsburg Town Cemetery.
