He is survived by his sister, Helen Riggsbee; his children Tony Riggsbee, Tina Brantley, Angela White, Eugenia Rigsbee, Richard Rigsbee, Arthur Rigsbee II and Jennifer Rigsbee. He had 10 grandchildren; Adam Brantley, Jake Brantley, David Roycroft, Jasmine Riggsbee, Gregory Rigsbee, Jordan Rigsbee, Morgan Rigsbee, Nicholas Rigsbee, Alyssa Rigsbee and Alexander Rigsbee.
After serving in the Army, he worked interior construction and he loved working with wood. He was known as a dedicated, hard-working man with a heart of gold and would do anything to help anyone. He has touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew him.
