Bonny Waddell Dupree, age 67, of Wilson passed away Friday, July 26, 2024 at Wilson Medical Center. She was born October 4, 1956 in Wilson County and was preceded in death by her father Roland Brooks Waddell.
Bonny loved her grandchildren with a passion and loved her community very much. She loved crafts, working in her yard and especially enjoyed holidays.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 29 years Timothy S. Dupree of Wilson, her mother Mrs. Belle Waddell of Lucama, her son Shane Boyles of Lucama, her daughter Tammy Boyles Vick and her husband Linwood of Wilson, her stepdaughter Rosalie Dupree Goldston and her husband Ben of Raleigh,four brothers; Randy Waddell of Lucama, Benjie Waddell “Barbara” of Fremont, Jeff Waddell “Joann” of Wilmington and Greg Waddell “Wendy” of Black Creek, seven grandchildren; Emma Vick, Ciara Boyles, Linwood Vick Jr., Lacey Boyles, Carolyn Goldston, Haven Boyles and Rhys Goldston.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday August 1, 2024 at 11 AM in the chapel of Thomas – Yelverton Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM at Thomas – Yelverton Funeral Home.
