CONNIE IRENE BAIN Connie Irene Bain, 61 of Wilson, went home to the Lord on Monday, August 10, 2015. Born in Wilson County, January 26, 1954, a daughter of the late Charles E. and Ruby McLean Bain, she had been a Licensed Practical Nurse in the U.S. Air Force. Following her discharge, she had worked as an accountant for the civil service of the U.S. Navy until her retirement. Connie is survived by her sisters, Janet O’Neal and her husband William of Evergreen and Sylvia Bain Jeffreys and her husband Quincy of Wilson; her nieces and nephews, Marsha O’Neal of Boonesville MS, Stacy Tyler and her husband Rick of Angier, Joseph O’Neal of Buies Creek, David O’Neal of Fuquay-Varina, and Betsy Jeffreys of Wilson; her 3 great-nieces and a great-nephew. Her family will receive relatives and friends at the Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home, 2708 Nash St., Wilson, Thursday from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. with a service to follow in the Chapel of Thomas-Yelverton.
