Daisy Howell Howard

Daisy Howell Howard, a beloved and devoted member of the Wilson community, passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 96. Born on October 26, 1929, in Wilson, North Carolina, Daisy was a gentle and kind-hearted soul, known for her faithful and honest nature.

Daisy was a devoted wife to her late husband, George Clayton Howard. She is survived by her sons, Michael Clayton Howard (Bettina) and Darrin Freeman Howard (Tarla). Daisy was a cherished sister to Deanie Felton, and she was predeceased by her sisters, Virginia Womble and Wilhelmena Williamson. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Clayton Howard (Nikki), Brandon Howard (Lauren), Jordan Denton (Eli), Bryson Baker (Garrett), and Logan Howard, as well as her great-grandchildren, George Howard, Riley Howard, Micah Denton, and Braxton Baker.

Daisy was an active member of Grace Baptist Church, where she was known for her community involvement and dedication to her faith.

A visitation will be held at Grace Baptist Church, located at 202 Kincaid Ave N., Wilson, North Carolina, on February 13, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 pm at the same location.

Daisy will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 2800 Nash St. N., Wilson, North Carolina.

Her gentle spirit and kind-hearted nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
