ESTELLE GODWIN HILL Estelle Godwin Hill, 99, beloved wife of the late Wiley C. Hill, of Wilson, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015. She is survived by her daughter, Anne Price; her daughter-in-law Becky Hill, both of Wilson; her grandchildren, Terry Johnson, Tim Johnson, Ronald Lee Lahti, Susan Wethington, Lisa Gardner, Brian Hill, Roy Hill, Preston Hill, and Cindy Callaghan; her brother, Jimmy Lee Godwin of Bailey, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, Preston and Celia Mae Bass Godwin, her sons, James Russell Hill, Jesse Preston Hill, Roy Lee Hill, and Wiley Calvin Hill Jr. Her family will receive relatives and friends at Thomas-Yelverton at Evergreen Memorial Park, 2704 Nash St., Wilson Monday, April 20, 2015 from 7 to 9 p.m. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park. www.thomasyelverton.com.
