IRIS INGRAM JOYNER Iris Ingram Joyner, 90, of Wilson, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Jesse Willard Joyner. She was born in Kanawha County, WV, March 13, 1925, a daughter of the late Harry B. and Bessie Duff Ingram, and had lived here for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce M. Joyner Taylor of Wilson; her sons, Norman Joyner and his wife Hazel of Nashville, and Robert Mitchell “Mitch” Joyner and his wife Mary of Wilson; her grandchildren, John Joyner, Diane Krob, Sharron Moore, Kim Duke- Clarke, Storm Joyner, and Summer Joyner; her great-grandchildren, Brandon Krob and Caleb Moore; and her sister, Pat Huskey of Roanoke, VA. Visitation will be Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home, 2704 Nash St in Wilson with a service at 7 p.m. with Pastor Elwood Long officiating, and at other times in the homes of either Mitch and Mary Joyner or Diane and Bobby Krob.
