Jessica attended Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Em City and love her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She loved the beach, loved fishing and was very head strong but would always make you laugh. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents, her husband of 13 years Dennis James Overman, her daughter Danielle Carpenter and fiancée Tyler Beamon, her brother Thomas Troy Harrell and his wife Genia of Vanceboro, grandchildren Bryson Shane Overman, Ryanne Maria Overman, Aleena Rochelle Overman and Wyatt Overman, her niece Ashlyn Gossett and her husband Shae, her great niece Magnolia Gossett and her stepchildren Desaray Overman and Shane Overman and his wife Scottie.
She was preceded in death by her Uncle Henry Ray Poland and several other aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, January 13, 2025 at 2 PM in the chapel of Thomas – Yelverton Funeral Home. Entombment will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
