Lucama : John R. Williamson , age 67, passed away Monday, August 7, 2023 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. He was the son of the late Lamont Williamson and Lillie Highsmith Williamson and was also preceded in death by his wife Victoria Williamson, son David Allan Williamson and his sister Sherry Daniels.
Left to cherish his memory are two daughters; Sharon O’Briant and her husband Brandon of Wilson and Pamela Sevilla and her husband Franklin of Lucama, two brothers ; Gary Williamson and Greg Williamson and his wife Janet both of Wilson, five grandchildren; Carter O’Briant, Joshua O’Briant, Anthony Williamson, Yoseline Sevilla and Jisella Sevilla, a brother-in-law Luther Daniels and Victoria Williamson's grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 4 PM in Evergreen Memorial Park, 2800 Nash St. N. Wilson, NC 27896 with Rev. Josh Preskitt officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM at Daniel's Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, 4828 Frank Price Church Rd., Wilson, NC 27893.
