Joyce devoted much of her working life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant — a calling that reflected the gentle, giving spirit that defined her in every area of life. Those who knew her will remember her warmth and quiet kindness; to know Joyce was, simply, to love her.
She is survived by her daughter, Jenny K. Doss (Perry Corwin); granddaughters, Amber Towell and Jamie Scribner; great-grandsons, Toby Towell and Michael Bellofatto; sister, Lois Farmer (Dwight); brothers-in-law, James Padilla and Bobby Sherman; sister-in-law, Judy Fries; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Padilla, grandson, Gregory Scribner, and her great-granddaughter, Aliya Towell.
