Ned was born February 4, 1939 in Wilson County to the late Fuller Lane and Mable Lucas Lane and was also predeceased by his loving wife Sara Elizabeth Lane and son Graham Lane.
Ned was a member of Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sister Mary Ann Boykin, his daughter-in-law Betty W. Lane, his special niece Florence Fortson and his special nephew Shoot Boykin.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 11 AM in Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
