Memorial for Rodney  ? My entire house is a memorial to Rodney. He has touched every board and wall in my huge house . I honestly think of him every day and appreciate his meticulous work . He had an inborn desire to do his best regardless of the job he was doing . I love Rodney Harrell .

I think of Mr. Harrell every day as I enjoy our home . He painted every room and every outside board of this big old house. . He did a meticulous job. If he saw something he could do to improve our home, painting or carpentry work, he would often do that on his own time. 
      He would always underprice his work. I would encourage him to rethink his pricing and he said he was wanting to make a living and wasn’t trying to get rich . I have never known a more conscientious,  selfless  person. 
    I realize he is experiencing ultimate and blissful peace in Heaven as a Believer in Jesus as His Savior yet I feel selfishly remorseful that I can’t continue my relationship with him here on earth.

We are so sad to hear about Rodney. We sure enjoyed visiting with Rodney at our office. He was kind and always had good stories to tell. We are so sorry for your loss.

Mr. Harrell exemplified the characteristics of a Christian. He did every job as unto the Lord with incredible attention to detail . He was humble and honest . He was more concerned about giving a fair price to his customer than about his own profit , often to his own loss. He put others before himself . He had an positive attitude regardless of the surrounding circumstances. When he was persecuted and mistreated , he refused to give in to bitterness or a desire for vengeance. He always did what he said he would do and kept his word. His work ethic was at the highest level possible for a human being. He was a true friend . Our lives were immeasurably impacted through knowing him and are indescribably diminished by his passing . We know He Loved the Lord Jesus and has gone to his reward in Heaven.

Rodney was a one of a kind man that we are going to miss so much.  I was fortunate to get to know Rodney over 25 years ago and he has been a friend to me and my family ever since.  He was the kind of good hearted man that made the world a better place, and if you knew him you were surely blessed.  Whether  it was a phone call or seeing him in person,  I never finished talking with him when I wasnt smiling.  My wife Julia and my kids just loved seeing "Mr Rodney" and he would spend so much time visiting and laughing with us he became like a part of our extended family. 
He was a hardworking and dedicated guy, and he helped us out on so many occasions...often adjusting his own schedule to help finish a project faster.   He was so smart when it came to his work, and was the kind of dependable man that we could use more of in today's world.  We are thankful to have had him as a friend, and our  deepest condolences to his family for their loss.  Our prayers are with them.
