Alex Clinton Adams of Monroe, GA, passed away surrounded by his family on December 4, 2025, at the age of 60. Alex was born in Athens, GA to the late Clint and Joyce Adams. He earned an undergraduate degree in Business from Brenau University and a Masters Degree in Quality Management from the University of Alabama. He was employed with Georgia Power and later with Georgia Systems Operations Corporation, where he was known for his dedication, strong work ethic, and steady leadership. Alex was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and golfing with his boys. He loved sports, especially during the years when he coached all three of his children, and he enjoyed shouting an occasional "Roll Tide" to aggravate his UGA loving family. After his love for Jesus, his family and friends were the most important thing to him. He was a man of immeasurable faith, generosity, loyalty, and kindness. Through his battle with cancer, Alex showed unwavering resilience, reminding others what it means to trust God fully and to cling to our faith and glorify God in the hardest and darkest moments.
Alex is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Cindy; children: Matthew (Taylor) Adams of Social Circle, Jacob (Farrah) Adams of Loganville, and Sarah Beth (Lee) Wright of Moultrie; four grandchildren: Makenzi Adams, Caroline Adams, Hoyt Adams, and Hudson Wright; his brother, Tracy (Susan) Adams of Cleveland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
