

Ann R. Perkins, 74, of Winder, GA, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Camilla, GA on September 15, 1950, Ann lived a life marked by faith, devotion, and deep compassion.
She was a cherished member of Midway Christian Church, where her faith guided her every step. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, James Randolph Rigsby and Ruth King Rigsby. She spent 54 beautiful years married to her devoted husband, Dana L. Perkins. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, and enduring partnership.
She was the proud mother of three sons: Lewis Perkins, of Winder, married to Angie; Clint Perkins, of Columbus, married to Brittany; and Heath Perkins, of Hamilton, married to Aly.
Her greatest joy came from her grandchildren: Reaggan (Josh) Doman, Cody Perkins, Hunter (Tori) Perkins, Archer Perkins, Cyrus Perkins, Max Perkins; and her great-grandchildren: Cash Doman and Camryn Doman, who brought light and laughter into her days.
Ann is survived by her loving siblings: Elizabeth Butler of Valdosta; Sue Ellen Warren of Valdosta; Emily Donnely of Camilla; Jim Rigsby of Perry; Timmy Rigsby of Pelham; and Scott Rigsby of Alpharetta.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday September 3, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home in Winder, Georgia. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, officiated by Reverend John Burchfield. Ann will be laid to rest at Barrow Memorial Gardens, where she will be surrounded by the peace and beauty she so richly deserved.
Ann will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her gentle spirit, and the quiet strength that touched everyone who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she loved so deeply.
