Anna graduated from Commerce High School class of 1968. She earned degrees from North Georgia College and Emory University. Anna was employed by the Piedmont Regional Library in Winder for 40 years where she was a strong advocate of reading and literacy in the Winder community. Anna was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Winder where she sang in the choir.
Anna is survived by a brother Jim Hoover of Commerce, Georgia and a nephew Brian Hoover of Commerce, Georgia and her loving companion Charles Morton of Auburn, Georgia.
Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 10:00 until 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life will follow immediately after in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home.
