Born in Athens to the late Richard and Annie Queen Davis. She was a member of Jackson County Baptist Church and had been employed by Gwinnett Medical Center.
Survivors include: her husband, Wayne Meeks of Hoschton; sons, Ricky McCullough of Flowery Branch, Jackie McCullough of Buford and Kevin Meeks of Bethlehem; daughter, Amanda Easterling of Winder; brothers, Tom Davis of Statham, Eddie Davis of Bishop, and Larry Davis of Nicholson; sister, Clara Browning of Danielsville; and grandchildren, Marcus McCullough, C.J. Clarke, Brianna Clarke, Naryan Kinney, Kaytlynn Meeks and Maklynne Meeks.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, December 23, 2011 in Smith Memory Chapel with Rev. Jack Lawson and Rev. Matthew Watson. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
