Betty Carol Todd

Mrs. Todd will be best remembered by her family and friends as a loving and caring person. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Mrs. Todd is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Poss and Penny Poss; daughter, Linda Todd; and brothers, Jr Poss and Aaron Poss.

Mrs. Todd is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Sims of Winder; son, Ricky Todd of Oglethorpe; daughters, Ann Hunter of Winder, Kimberly Seabolt of Oglethorpe, and Amanda Sims of Athens; brothers, Terry and Jerry Poss of Oxford, and Harold Poss of Porterdale; sisters, Jonell Palmer of Monroe, and Dorothy Dove of Bowman; nine grandchildren, Robby and Selena Gordon, Dustin Shelton, Da'Quavious Sims, Dedric Cunningham, Robert Todd, Da'Niya and Mariah Sims, and Bailey Bryant. Twelve great grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of Mrs. Betty Todd will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Sims officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
