Brandon Lamar Puckett, age 30 of Bogart, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014. A graduate of Winder-Barrow High School in 2002, he was a State Champion in wrestling and later received an Associate’s Degree in accounting. He was an avid race car driver and owner of Puckett Construction Group. Brandon was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joe Allen Burkhead. His is survived by his wife, Alison Puckett of Bogart; parents, Donny and Wanda Burkhead Puckett of Bogart; grandparents, Jimmy and Nell Puckett and Gladys Fisher; step-sons Brandon and Tegan ; step-daughter Payslee; sister, Ashley Puckett of Bogart. The family will receive friends from 6 – 9pm Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home in Winder. Funeral Services will be 2:00pm Sunday, March 9, 2014 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home.
