He was of the Methodist faith and the pastor of Pentecost and Corinth United Methodist Churches. Brian has been a pastor for The North Georgia United Methodist Church Conference for over 20 years and his passion was to make Jesus real to all people.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Jimmie Frances Paul Davis and a brother, Chris Davis. Brian is survived by his loving wife, Leisel Davis of Winder; two sisters, Karan Harp (Keith) of Suwanee and Susan Watson (Stewart) of Longwood, FL; a sister-in-law, Susan Davis of Malabar, FL and nephew and nieces, Ben Harp, Laura Himschoot, Emily Dailey and Kate Watson.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 6 until 8PM at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA. Funeral services will be at 2PM Thursday, July 6, 2017 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home, With Rev’s Mark Hering and Jim Harrelson officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth United Methodist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pentecost or Corinth United Methodist Churches.
