Christine Smith, age of 57 of Winder, GA, passed away on January 14, 2026. She was born in Baltimore, MD, to Jimmy Brown, Jr. and the late JoAnn Atkins Brown. She lived in Norcross before moving to Winder eight years ago. She was employed as a Manager at Blinds By Noon. She enjoyed puzzles, watching crime shows and she loved to travel. Most of all, Christine loved her family.
In addition to her father, Christine was preceded in death by her sister, Rosa Atkinson; two nephews: Justin Marshall and Reginald Belton; and a niece, Erica Atkinson.
Christine is survived by her husband of forty years, Brian Smith, her children: Brian (Crystal) Smith, Jr.; and her mother, JoAnn Brown. She is also survived by five siblings: Shirley Atkinson, Ella Atkinson, Bessie Atkinson, Denise Atkinson, and Bernard Brown; two grandchildren: Madison, and Brian, III; nieces: Natisha Fulton, Oriel Fulton, and Peggy Marshall; nephews: Cordell Howard, Bernard Owens, and Ronald Atkinson; and a host of beloved family members.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, has charge of arrangements.
