James Christopher Bottoms, LMT, CPT, CKPT, age 36 of Winder, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016. Chris graduated from North Gwinnett High School and Rising Spirit School of Massage. He was a Deep Tissue Myofascial Therapist and owned his own business where he made many friends and business associates throughout Georgia. Chris was a Published Author with one book published and was in process of writing his second. He is survived by his parents, Hugh Bottoms of Winder and Ellen Davis (Victor) of Winder; a daughter, Emma Silveira; two step-sisters, Lori Davis Miller of Athens and Valerie Davis Christopher (Brent) of Watkinsville and a step-brother, Brent Davis (Melinda) of Winder. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. A memorial service will be held at 7:00PM Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Auburn First Baptist Church, 1385 6th Ave. Auburn, GA 30011 with Dr. Jimmy Orr and Mr. Randy Miller officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service next door to the church in the fellowship hall.
