Christopher Carl Holbrook, age 63, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 18, 2023. He was born on December 15, 1959 in Chamblee, GA. He was known as a jokester and loved practical jokes. Chris loved to fish and had a love for pets, especially his dog Sophie, a Shepherd/Chihuahua mix. He was a hardworking, fair person who was always there to give advice when needed… even when it wasn’t wanted. Chris was a very good and loving husband.
Chris is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Janet Holbrook; his son Jeremy Ray; his two daughters: Christy Holbrook and Jennifer Ray (Fiancé Casey Brock); brother, Kenneth Holbrook (Charlotte); sisters: Louise Mull and Nancy Holbrook (Gilbert Medlin); and four grandchildren: Gerald, Jaden, Rene, and Wyatt.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held Saturday, March 18 at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder. GA. The visitation will begin at 1:00 pm and conclude at 3:00 pm.
