Christopher "Harvey" Peppers, age 45, of Winder,passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023. He was a native of Barrow County and attended Winder-Barrow High School. He was employed as an operator for Garrett Paving. Harvey was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a fan of the Atlanta Braves and the UGA Bulldogs.
Harvey is survived by his parents, Rickey and Dawn Peppers of Winder and Kathy Hayes of Statham. He is also survived by his sons: Ethan (Emily) Peppers, Trent Peppers, and Blake Peppers, all of Winder; his finance Silvia Boites and her son Matthew of Lawrenceville; his best friend and mother of his children, Kellie Peppers of Winder; his sisters: Tammy Peppers, Heather Hayes, and Candace (Kaleb) Kennedy all of Winder; his granddaughter Hadley Peppers; as well as a nephew and three nieces.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, on Monday, October 30, 2023 from noon until 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in Smith Memory Chapel, with Pastor Robby Clark officiating.
