Cooper Thomas of Winder was called home on June 9, 2016. Born on February 24, 1925, Cooper lived his life with patience, kindness, generosity and humility. He loved his church, his family and his God. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his brother Jack and sister-in-law Joy; his beloved nieces Susan (husband Don) and Amy (husband Fred). Great nephews Steven Massey and Clay Thomas, great niece Sarah Massey-Bowling (husband Will). He also had many cousins close to his heart.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Alice and Clarence Thomas, and sisters Peggy and Carol Thomas.
The creator makes special people and Cooper was at the top of the list.
Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until funeral hour at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA
Services scheduled at 2:00PM Monday, June 13, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Winder and burial at Rose Hill Cemetery in Winder.
