

Dolores Anne Waller age 80 of Auburn, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021. She was a native of Atlanta, living most of her retirement years in Barrow County. Dolores was a member of Covenant Life Sanctuary in Winder, where she was a known prayer warrior and dedicated coffee ministry volunteer. She truly lead her life in the image of Christ, and with a servant's heart dedicated her retirement years as a volunteer for several ministries including The Homeless Outreach, Helping Hands and anything she could do to help animals.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, William Fred and Ruby Watts Dempsey and a brother, Joe Dempsey. She is survived by three sons, Jim Waller of Waynesboro, Jeff Waller of Pansey, AL and John Waller (Jeri Hudgins) of Tucker; four grandchildren: Christa Waller, Alex Waller, Sarah Waller-Price and Emily Waller; two great-grandchildren: Marleigh and Reese Waller; her church family: John and Kimi Smith; and her beloved cat of 21 years, Smokey.
A celebration of Dolores’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Covenant Life Sanctuary, 115 Patrick Mill Rd SW, Winder, GA, with Pastor John Smith and Pastor Bobby Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from noon until service time. A reception will follow services.
