Donald Jason Jacks, age 48, of Winder, GA passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024. Jason was born on August 24, 1975 in Anniston, AL to the late Donnie Jacks and Donna Bachelor. He was a graduate of Cleburne County High School and was a HVAC technician with 1st Mechanical Services. Jason was a hard worker and a member of UA Local Union 72 Plumbers, Pipefitters & HVAC Technicians. When not working, he loved fishing, being outdoors, and riding his motorcycle.
Jason is survived by his sons, Tucker (Madison) Jacks of Monroe and Levi (Destiny) Jacks of Winder. He is also survived by his step-mother, Joyce Jacks of Statham; brother, James Ross Jacks of Statham; sisters: Emily Barnes of Biloxi, MS and Elizabeth Bridges of Gulf Port, MS; and grandchildren: Addelyn Jacks and Colton Jacks.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, Georgia. Following the visitation will be a Memorial Service at 4:00 PM in Smith Memory Chapel.
