Mr. Ernest Greene Graham Jr.

Mr Ernest Greene Graham Jr, 80, of winder Ga died October 4th 2010. a lifetime resident of winder, the son of the late Ernest Greene Graham Sr and Louis B. McElroy Graham. he was a 1947 graduate of Winder Barrow High school where he played football basketball ran track and was a 2 time state runner and was a graduate of georgia Tech in 1951. Mr Graham served in the Air Force as a 1st Lieutenant. he was the retired/owner/operator of Graham Cleaners for more than 50 years. was a former member of the Winder city board of Education and was a Charter Member of the winder noon lions club in 1996. he also filmed the football games for winder barrow high for 10 years. he was the recipient of the 2009 Winder Rotary Club Rotarian Vocational Excellence award. was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church of Winder where he was a Sunday school teacher,deacon,elder and member of the building committee. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Barbara Tanner graham. Survivors include son, Ernest (ernie) Greene Graham III and wife Peggy; daughters: Lynn Graham Hammond and husband, David, Gayle graham Acuff and husband Mark. granchildren: Stephen graham and wife, Kristin. Ann Marie Johnson and husband, Nick, and Betsy Robinson. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church Of Winder. 275 N fifth ave, winder Ga, 30680.
