Everett Jackson "Jackie" Cowart, age 78, passed away on Wednesday March 4, 2015. A native of Quitman, Ga. Mr. Cowart was the son of the late Joseph Alton Cowart and Lillie Hunter Cowart Lowe. Mr. Cowart was retired from CDC and was a Navy Vet. Memorial services will be held Saturday March 7, 2015 at 2:00pm at Smith Memory Chapel. Rev. Terry Tippens will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00pm Saturday. Survivors include wife; Martha McDaniel Cowart; children; Jeanne (Greg) Law and Donald (Tania) Cowart; sister; Mary Lee Wallace; grandchildren; Maura Law, Ethan Law, Connor, Trevor Ainsley and Bailey Cowart; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Smith Funeral Home, Winder, has charge of arrangements.
