Frances White

Frances White, age 82 of Bethlehem, passed away on February 1, 2024. Frances was born in Athens to the late C. L. and Grace Stowe Hayes, and she grew up in Monroe. She was a member of Bethlehem Church. Frances worked for the Barrow County School System for over 30 years. She was Secretary at Bethlehem Elementary School and later retired after being the Records Clerk at Winder-Barrow High School for many years. Frances loved cooking and creating recipes. She enjoyed traveling to the mountains and the beach.

In addition to her parents, Frances was predeceased by her husband, Robert White. She is survived by her daughters: Melissa (Mike) Stinchcomb and Melanie (Joshua) Futch both of Bethlehem; her grandchildren: Adam Stinchcomb, Brandon Stinchcomb, Trent (Kristin) Futch, and Lindsey Futch; and her mother-in-law, Latrelle White.

The family will receive friends at Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 6 from noon until 2:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm in Smith Memory Chapel with the burial to follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations in memory of Frances White be made to Donate Life America or any Breast Cancer Awareness organization.
