Mrs. Frankie Gilmore Evans

Mrs. Evans graduated from Athens High School and attended the University of Georgia and Young Harris College. She was a member of the Winder First Baptist Church.

Frankie had a kind and generous heart and you could be counted as blessed if you were privileged to know her. Her kindness knew no bounds both with the people she came in contact with and the animals she tirelessly helped. She was predeceased by her brother Frank Gilmore, Jr. and her parents Frank Gilmore and Louise Tanksley. She is survived by her husband, Larry Evans, children Tammy Morgan and Tracy Kiley, grandchildren Weston and Karri Kiley and Karly Morgan, a great-grandchild Laken Morgan White, her sister, Brenda Gilmore Statkum (Walter) and her beloved Gabby.

The Family will receive friends Sunday night, January 24, 2016, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Winder. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Winder First Baptist Church with Dr. John Talley and Rev. Bethe Kellum officiating.
