Jacquelyn Eloise Hendrix

Jacquelyn Eloise Hendrix, age 94 of Winder, GA, passed away on January 25, 2026. Eloise was born in Auburn, GA to the late Ottis and Audrey Wages. She was employed for many years with Thomas Wholesale in Winder. Eloise had many friends and enjoyed traveling. She loved her family and was most happy when they were all together. She loved celebrating birthdays and all holidays when her family was with her.

Eloise was predeceased by her daughter, Kaye Watkins, her husband of 42 years, Buck Hendrix, and her special friend, Jack Stapleton. She was also predeceased by her sister, Virginia Thomas and brother-in-law, Gifton Thomas, and her brother, Lavene Wages and sister-in-law, Carolyn Wages.

Eloise is survived by her daughters, Jennifer House Lyle and Kristi (Barry) Hendrix-Lord. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Shane House, Justin House, Dusty House, Spencer Lord, and Jordan Lord; three great-grandchildren: Tanner House, Torrie House, and Cora House; and several nieces and nephews.

A Visitation for family and friends was held at Smith Funeral Home on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Her Memorial Service followed at 1:00 pm in Smith Memory Chapel.
