James Millard Moss, age 81 of Auburn, GA passed on March 31, 2026. James was born in Parkersburg, WV to the late Madison Fincher Moss and Cleo Jones Moss. He faithfully served as a member of the U.S. Army and was deployed to Korea for a peace keeping mission during the Vietnam War. James retired as a warehouse manager for Eaton Corp. When not working, James enjoyed watching Braves Baseball and NASCAR and he loved going fishing.
In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by his wife, Annie Lauren Moss, and his siblings: Francis, Janet, Patty, and Juke. He is survived by his sons: Sammy (Maria) Clark, Jimmy (Nickie) Clark, Dewayne (Tracy) Moss, and Darrell (Alishia) Moss; brothers: Tim, Glenn, and Junior; sisters: Laura, Linda, and Irene; eight grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Friday, April 3, 2026 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm in Smith Memory Chapel. He will be Laid to Rest in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
