Jeannine Malcom Wilkins

Jeannine Malcom Wilkins, of Gainesville, GA, passed away on May 25, 2026, at the age of 93. Ms. Jeannine was born in Miami, FL, and raised in Bostwick, GA. She attended West Georgia College and was a graduate of the University of Georgia. She spent her career as a schoolteacher with the Gainesville City School System where she taught at Enota Elementary School and Fair Street Elementary School. After retirement, she worked at Gainesville Marina. Ms. Jeannine was upbeat and loved life. She led an adventurous life and enjoyed hiking and traveling to the mountains, beaches, and the lake.

She was predeceased by her parents, A. H. Malcom, Sr. and Elizabeth Maude Malcom, and her brother, A.H. Malcom, Jr.

Ms. Jeannine is survived by her children: daughter, Michael Sims, son, Warren B. "Sonny" Wilkins, Jr., and daughter, Patti Wilkins Meadows; sister, Ona Nunn of Bostwick, GA; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her special friend, Kenneth Shaw.

There will be a Graveside Funeral Service on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 10:30 am at Westbrook Cemetery in Bostwick, GA.
