Joshua “Josh” Hunter, 40 of Bethlehem, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025. He was a lifetime resident of Barrow County and attended Apalachee High School. Josh was a master craftsman that could build anything. He never met a stranger and was loved by many for his amazing personality, quick humor, and the ability to light up a room. Josh deeply loved his family and was an amazing father, son, and brother.
Josh is survived by his daughters, Rylynn Hunter of Bethlehem and Alora Latonis of Monroe; his parents Billy and Tammy Phillips Hunter of Bethlehem; a sister, Alissa Knight (Colby) of Colbert; niece and nephews: Jadyn Nix, Caleb Hunter and Mason Nix; and great-nephews and niece: Liam Hunter, Hardy Nix and Haisley Nix.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow in Smith Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM.
