A native of Atlanta, Georgia, she was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church where she taught Awanas and Vacation Bible School and worked in the nursery. She was a huge falcons fan and loved by everyone she came into contact with.
Mrs. Franklin is survived by her husband of 34 years, Mr. Randy Franklin of Winder; parents, Gene and Judy Medley of Sparta; brother, Randy Medley of Sparta; sister, Pam Nash of Sparta; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and one great great nephew.
The Memorial Service to celebrate the life of “JuJu” Franklin will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Chris Yancey and Bro. Joe Reid officiating. Visitation with family and friends will be from 12:00 - 2:00pm at the church prior to the service. The family has requested that each person in attendance wear either Falcons football or Georgia football attire.
