

Kenneth Wesley Plummer, age 70, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023. Kenneth was born in Elmhurst, IL, and he lived in IL, MI, AL and GA. He moved to GA in 1970 where he attended Tucker High School and met his High School sweetheart, Connie Pinyan, in the 11th grade. He was raised in a Christian home and returned to his faith later in life. Kenneth obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He was a Senior Vice President of Global Communications for Amec Foster Wheeler. In the late 70's and early 80’s he designed, what was at the time, the world’s largest chemical recovery boiler for a paper mill. In his free time, Kenneth enjoyed working with antique cars, specifically MGs and Fords. He also enjoyed farming, traveling, and taking care of Connie. He had a special love for his Australian Shepherd puppy, Sallie.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents: Reginald Walker Plummer Jr and Roxanne Ruth Seeger Plummer; his brother, Buddy Plummer; and his brother-in-law, George Koen.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Connie. He is also survived by his children: Cindy (Brad) Petrella, Beth (Mike) Ingledew, and Kenneth Wesley II (Felisha) Plummer; seven grandchildren: Brandon Petrella, Evan Petrella, Corey Petrella, Ciara Plummer, Ariana Plummer, Dominick Petrella, and Caleb Petrella; sister, Pam Koen; and brother, Dr. Kevin David (Connie) Plummer.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2pm - 4pm on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Smith Funeral Home, Winder. Pastor Eddie Bishop will officiate a sharing of words and memories from 2:30pm - 3pm.
