Kitty "Ovid" Pierce, age 88, of Monroe, GA passed away on January 17, 2013. Kitty was a member of Carl Baptist Church and retired Activity Director of Russell Nursing Home. She is preceded in death by her parents, John A & Elise Goode Campbell; husband James R. Pierce; and son John Kinton who died in Vietnam in 1967. She is survived by sons Richard(Margie) Kinton of Alpharetta, GA & Thomas (Cabell) Kinton of Richmond, VA; daughter Linda (Paul) Jastrzemski of Winder, GA; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and brother William (Bill) Campbell of Kilmarnock, VA.
A visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm on Sunday, January 20, 2013. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, January 21, 2013 at Smith Memory Chapel with Linwood Smith and Ray Fumea officiating. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
