Laurie Jo Holliday, 85, of Winder died Tuesday, February 21, 2012.
Born in Barrow County, to the late Ansel and Edna Williamson Miller, she was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. Her parents, her husband, Boyce William Holliday and brother, Kenneth Miller, preceded her in death.
Survivors include: her son, Boyce Neal (Glenese) Holliday of Winder; sisters, Kathryn Mann and Brenda Cox, both of Winder; grandchildren, Erik Fields, Stacie Leigh Butler and Mary Hannah Kelley; great-granddaughter, Rebekah Leigh Butler; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2012 in Smith Memory Chapel with Rev. Doyle Sims and Rev. Hoyt Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Christian Church Cemetery.
The family has requested memorial contributions be made to Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with 4339 Hwy 330, Statham, GA 30666.
